Kostadin Pavlov Kanchev – Associate Professor, PhD
He graduated the University of Forestry, majoring “Veterinary medicine” in 2003. He started to work in University of Forestry as Assistant Professor in 2004, became Chief Assistant Professor in 2010. In 2013 he defended a PhD thesis ” Studies on tenuicol cysticercosis in Bulgaria”. Since 2016 he is Associate Professor.
Major fields of scientific interests:
– Tenuicol cysticercosis in lambs and pigs;
– Physical methods for disposal of parasitic sexual products and microorganisms in waste water;
– New species of helminths and parasitic arthropods in domestic and wild animals for Bulgaria;
– Parasite fauna of domestic and wild canids, small and large ruminants;
– Antiparasitic therapy in domestic and wild animals.
