She graduated from the University of Forestry – Sofia in 2006, majoring in Landscape Architecture.
Since 2009, she has been a part-time PhD student in Floriculture at the Department of Park and Landscape Construction. In 2015, she defended her PhD dissertation titled “Biological Models for Creating Vertical Gardens in Interior Spaces.”
In September 2011, she was appointed as a full-time Assistant Lecturer in the same department, and since 2016 she has held the position of Chief Assistant Professor.

Special interests: vertical gardens in interior and exterior spaces, floristry.

Field of scientific interest:
– Flower and cut-flower compositions in green spaces and interior design
– Cultivation of epiphytic plants
– Influence of landscape architecture elements on human psychology
and other related topics
