Bilyana Grigorova-Pesheva – Chief Assistant Professor, PhD
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Protection at the University of Forestry – Sofia in 2011. In 2017, she earned a Master’s degree in Urban Ecology.
Since 2018, she has been a member of the Standing Committee on Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Informatics at the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA). In 2020, she joined the Department of Soil Science at the University of Forestry as an Assistant Lecturer.
She conducts practical classes in the subjects “Microbiology” and “Soil Science.”
Her main scientific research areas include:
Microbiological status of forest soils
Influence of environmental factors on soil biogenicity
Soil as a medium for the development of microbial communities
Soil types and their biogenic potential
