She completed her higher education in 1987 at the Higher Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (VIAS), specializing in Geodesy, Photogrammetry, and Cartography.
In 1989, she began working at the University of Forestry as an Assistant Lecturer. Since 1997, she has held the position of Chief Assistant.
In 2014, she defended her doctoral dissertation for the educational and scientific degree “PhD” on the topic: “Optimization of Database Structures and Spatial Analysis in Specialized GIS for Forests.”
Since 2017, she has been an Associate Professor in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Methods.
In 2020, she was elected Vice-Chair of the General Assembly of the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Forestry.
She has authored over 30 publications in the fields of thematic forest mapping, forest inventory methods using interpretation of aerial photographs and orthophotos, applications of GIS in forestry and related areas, as well as the development and optimization of GIS database structures for forest territories.
She has participated in 1 international, 1 national, and over 20 scientific and applied research projects in the field of forestry.
