Commodity & Stock markets exchange
The main purpose of the course is:
- to present valuable knowledge about modern financial markets, their role, and significance in today’s market economy governed by the rule of law;
- to give the students knowledge about risk management and explain commodity and stock market mechanisms;
- to ensure that students are familiar with today’s futures, stock and commodity markets;
- to ensure future managers master the knowledge and competencies required to operate in open markets like commodity and stock exchanges.
Entrepreneurship
Course contents: Content and modern forms of entrepreneurship. Types of entrepreneurial activity. Feature of the enterprise in a market economy. Organization and development of own business. Workings of enterprises with different organizational and legal forms. Motivation for entrepreneurship. Entry strategies in business. Challenges of entrepreneurship. The course contains basic topics in the discipline related to evolution of management science, the organization as a system and as an object of systematic management, new organizations, strategic management of modern organizations, organizing and organizational structures, control, methods of decisions-making and risk management, organizational and interpersonal communication, motivation and strategies to enhance motivation, integrating role of marketing, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Insurance
Studying the course “Insurance” students formed an insurance culture, insurance thinking and modern approach to the management of organizations in different sectors of economy. Create a minimum necessary knowledge of the branches and types of insurance and how to use insurance instruments as an opportunity for better risk management. The program includes main topics of insurance marketing. The discipline has scientific and practical aspects . The curriculum is divided into topics and combines lectures and students work in research the insurance market and insurance products. In the exercises the focus is on specific risks and types of insurance products, suitable for woodworking and furniture industry and sector of tourism.

Management Diagnostics
The course “Management diagnostics” is aiming at students from master degree. The process of management diagnostics is essential from management. The discipline is aiming at:
- Providing students with essentials of company management, viewing as s selfcoordinating complex and dynamic system, developing in constantly changing environment;
- To provide students with the possibilities which management diagnostics gives for understanding different problems in company functioning and also to define their causes;
- To clear aspects of management diagnostics and its implementing in modern company;
- Provide to students essentials of knowledge about instruments, approaches, methods and techniques for implementing management diagnostics into real market participant;
- To enhance future managers to master skills and habits to work in dynamic environment and by implementing diagnostic analysis of management system in the process of managing a company and in time to recognize the problems facing their organization
Management of Labor and Wages
The course “Management of labor and wages” study issues related to the management of productivity and wages in the company or enterprise. The first part of the lectures is intended to examine the nature and characteristics of productivity methods for its analysis and management methods to increase productivity and Intercompany management of labor. The second part addresses the issues associated with managing payroll in the company or enterprise – nature and characteristics of wages, regulations and documents governing the management of payroll, practical issues associated with managing payroll.
In the exercises will solve practical management issues of productivity and wages.

Management of the Design Process – Engineering Design, EQD Master's
The course aims to enrich students’ knowledge on the management of the design process. In its contents included questions about: formation of theoretical knowledge about the stages of the design process; interaction with other processes in the organization; managing the design process throughout the life cycle of the product; formation of practical skills related to sales , consultancy and research customers and the market.

The course covers the basic questions of marketing theory as: marketing categories and concepts; traditional and modern marketing tools; secondary and primary market research; trademark and brand management; specific marketing and advertising instruments applied to furniture enterprises.

Organization and Operational Management of Forestry
In the beginning are studied the characteristics of companies and businesses in the forestry organization of the production process, the production structure and forms of organization of production, basics of entrepreneurship, organization of use of tangible assets, organization and regulation of labor organization, payroll organization, organization of business accounting and more.
In the second part of the course deals with the essence, principles and methods of planning of economic activity in forestry in general and specifically in sections: production program, work on their own machines, labor and wages, capital investment and technical progress, cost, implementation of production financing, business planning, marketing and more for all activities in forest enterprises. Issues related to operational management in forest enterprises. Attention is place to learn about new aspects of the forestry legislation relating to the organization and planning, as well as the opportunities that are provided for financing forestry from European programs.

Organization and Operational Management of Forest Industry
The content of the training course covers issues, related to the characteristics of organizational development and operations management in the enterprises of Woodworking and Furniture Industry. The course presents the specificity of the organization of the production process, used machinery, equipment, and ICT, management and organization of human resources. It identifies the characteristics of production and quality control, and advanced marketing tools in the Woodworking and Furniture Industry. It includes the characteristics of the operations strategy, operations managers and operation plans. It highlights the knowledge, information, design, cooperation, and innovation like a modern areas which are subject to organization and management.

Organization and Planning of Forestry
In a market economy bachelors in forestry must have theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the organization of labor, production and management as well as planning, control and analysis of economic activity. Such knowledge and skills students acquire in the course of “Organization and planning of forestry.”

The content of the training course includes issues related to the nature and characteristics of organizational development in Forest Industry. It presents the specifics of the production process, materials planning, used machinery and information and communication technologies, management and organization of human resources. The classified products manufactured in the Forest Industry are presented, together with the characteristics of product development and design. It includes the methods of decisions making and distinguished product and company competitiveness. It’s defined planning as a basic management function, strategic and operational planning, capacity planning. Outstanding are the forms of collaboration and innovation as modern areas subject to organization and management.

Prices and pricing
“Prices and pricing” is a course designed for students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. The course provide to students with basic knowledge about prices, pricing and market environment. The main purpose is:
- to ensure students understand the essence of the prices in today’s markets;
- to provide students with knowledge about the modern market infrastructure and main relation vectors in modern economy;
- to make clear to the students the different market types, deals and technology for pricing;
- to ensure future managers develop abilities to build prices in market dynamism, in order to enhance the effectiveness of their decisions as managers.

Production Management
The course presents the modern theories and practices for effective management of manufacturing organizations. The course “Trade management” is committed for students in master degree. The accent is on markets and their diversity as an object of study and research, different methods of acquiring market information, consumer behavior study of individuals and business consignees. Pricing and pricing policies and advanced methods of pricing. Also the course is aiming at mastering students skills using electronic trade. Furthermore we will pay attention to international markets, different business methods and developing and sustaining effective trade policy of commercial organization.
