Dendrological Laboratory At The Department Of “Dendrology”
The dendrological laboratory at the department of “Dendrology” serves for scientific and educational work in the field of Dendrology of the teachers at the department and students. It is equipped with instruments for collection of specimen and their analysis. There is a range of increment borers, increment puncher “Trephor”, “Lintab” equipment for measurement of tree ring width, microscopes, stereoscopes, microtome GSL-1, scanners, computer equipment and specialized software.
Laboratory of Plant Physiology
The Laboratory of Plant Physiology supports both educational and research activities in the fields of plant physiology, ecological physiology, and plant biochemistry. It is equipped with modern instruments for conducting precise experiments and analyses. Among the more valuable devices are: Portable Photosynthesis System Li-6400 (Li-Cor, Biosciences, USA); Portable Chlorophyll Meter atLEAF+, used for field measurement of chlorophyll content in intact leaves; Portable PAR Meter LI-190SA, used for field measurement of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) intensity; and others.
