He completed his higher education in 1987 at the Higher Institute of Forestry and Wood Technology (VLTU), majoring in Forestry. In 1988, he began working at the University of Forestry as an Assistant Lecturer.
In 1995, he defended his PhD dissertation on the topic: “Studies on the Biology and Ecology of the Common Quail (Coturnix coturnix L.) in the High Fields of Southwestern Bulgaria.”
He has held the academic position of Associate Professor since 2000.
Since 2007, he has been the Head of the Department.
Main areas of scientific interest:
– Ecology of wild fauna
– Organization and management of game breeding
– Artificial propagation of game species
