He completed his higher education in 1997 at the University of Forestry, majoring in Forestry. In 2007, he defended a dissertation to obtain the educational and scientific degree “PhD” on the topic: “Studies on the Structure and Growth of Coppice Beech Stands in the Stara Planina Mountain.”
Since 2008, he has been a Chief Assistant Professor in Forest Management.
He has authored over 20 publications in the fields of forest mensuration and forest management. He has participated in more than 10 research projects and scientific tasks.
