Atanas Georgiev Pankov – Chief Assist. Prof., PhD
He graduated in 1997 at Trakia University – Stara Zagora, specialty “Veterinary Medicine”. In 1998 he joined the UF as an assistant in internal medicine. In 2018 he defended a PhD thesis „Comparative M-mode echocardiographic and radiographic examinations in myxomatous valve degeneration (MVD) depending on the presence or absence of pulmonary edema“.

Main areas of scientific interest:

Cardiology-MVD;
Diabetes.
