Pavel Ventsislavov Pavlov – Chief Assistant Professor, PhD
He completed his secondary education in 2009 at the Vocational School of Forestry and Woodworking “Sava Mladenov,” specializing in Forestry and Game Management.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from the University of Forestry – Sofia in 2013, followed by a Master’s degree in Forest Management in 2016.
From 2015 to 2020, he worked as Chief Forester at the State Game Enterprise “Vitoshko-Studena.”
Since 2020, he has been an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Soil Science at the University of Forestry.
He conducts practical classes in the subjects “Forest Soil Science” and “Soil Science.”
His main scientific research areas include the study of soil acidification, organic matter, and erosion processes in forest soils.

Main areas of scientific interest:
– Erosion – factors of sheet water erosion in forest and mountainous areas
– Soil Science – soil acidification and loss of organic matter
