Simeon Bogdanov Bogdanov – Associate Professor, PhD
He completed his higher education in 1999 at the University of Forestry, earning a Master’s degree in Forestry Engineering. He has been working at the University of Forestry since 2000 as an Assistant Lecturer. In 2010, he defended his PhD dissertation titled “Changes in the Characteristics of Luvisol-Class Soils under the Influence of Forest Fires.”
In 2016, he was promoted to the academic rank of Associate Professor.

Soil genesis and classification
Site quality assessment (bonitation) of forest soils
Impact of forest fires on soils
