Slavcho Asenov Savev – Chief Assistant Professor, PhD
He completed his higher education in 1994 at the Higher Institute of Forestry and Wood Technology (VLTU), majoring in Forestry with a specialization in Ecology and Environmental Protection. In 1995, he was admitted as a full-time PhD student in the Department of Silviculture. In 1998, he joined the University of Forestry as an Assistant Lecturer. In 2003, he defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Study of Non-Timber Forest Plant Resources in the Petrohan Area – Western Stara Planina with a View to Their Rational Use.” Since 2003, he has held the position of Chief Assistant Professor.
