Tanya Vasileva Pancheva – Associate Professor, PhD
Assoc. Prof. Tanya Pancheva graduated from the University of Yaroslavl, Russia in 1983, speciality “English Philology”. In 1995 she joined the University of Forestry as a Senior Lecturer in English language. In 2014 she defended her dissertation thesis “Interactive Learning Environment for Engineering and Technical Specialities and Foreign Language Training (English Language)” and obtained a PhD degree. Since 2015 she is an Associate Professor.

Leads seminars in English language for the students from the following specialities:

• Engineering Design (Interior and Furniture Design);
• Wood Technology;
• Veterinary Medicine;

Major fields of scientific interest:

• Interdisciplinary approach to foreign language training for engineering and technical specialities;
• ICT in foreign language training;
• Methodology of the foreign language training (English for specific purposes).
