Higher education – 1985 – Department “Technologies of inorganic substances” – Higher Institute of Chemical Technology – Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1999 became an Assistant in University of Forestry.
Dissertation title: „Distribution of impurities and ecological problems at extraction of wet phosphoric acid”, 1995, (BG) UCTM-Sofia.
During 2006, she received the academic title “Assoc. professor” of scientific specialty “Ecology and protection of ecosystems” (Technology for the waste treatment).

On May 30, 2023, she was elected to the academic position of “Professor” in the scientific specialty “Ecology and Ecosystem Conservation” (Technologies for Solid Waste Treatment).
