Viktor Petrov Savov – Prof., PhD
Graduate in 2005 at University of Forestry – Sofia, with master degree of “Woodworking and furniture production”. Engineer Savov is a winner of gold medal award, of University of Forestry, for excellent results.
From March 2006 is PhD student at department of Mechanical technology of wood at Faculty of Forest Industry of University of Forestry with thesis “Study on influence of pre-heating rates on properties of fiberboards”. From 2007 is assistant professor at that department.
In 2010 defend the PhD thesis in Specialized Scientific Council of Forest Industry at Higher Attestation Commission. With decision of Higher Attestation Commission obtained scientific degree “Doctor” at the same year. From 2015 is Associate Professor.

Major fields of scientific interests:
– Research on engineered wood product; Fiberboards;
– Directions and opportunities for optimization of processes at manufacturing of wood-based composite materials;
– Directions and opportunities for optimization of structure and composition of wood-based composite materials..
