Purpose of the project \u2013<\/strong> to promote agroforestry knowledge as a form of sustainable land use that can contribute to mitigating climate change and improving the environment, preserving the landscape and biodiversity, revitalizing rural areas and protecting food quality and health.<\/p>\n\n

Work packages:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Work package 1 (WP1): Project management <\/strong>\u2013 is carried out by two supervisory units: for project management (PMU) and for project quality assurance (QAC).<\/p>\n\n

Work package 2 (WP2): Preparation<\/strong> \u2013 includes two tasks: a detailed analysis of curricula and identification of gaps within the curricula of current subjects in agroforestry and preparation of a digital database of agroforestry practices used in the countries of the consortium.<\/p>\n\n

Work package 3 (WP3): Development<\/strong> \u2013 improvement of the quality of learning contents in the field of agroforestry and ensuring knowledge transfer through visits of teachers and students to the countries of the consortium, guest lecturers, development of bachelor’s and master’s theses.<\/p>\n\n

Work package 4 (WP4): Innovative learning materials:<\/strong> publishing an agroforestry textbook, a Guide for farmers and local self-government, developing a Manual for using the digital database.<\/p>\n\n

Work package 5 (WP5): Quality assurance and dissemination<\/strong> \u2013 includes two tasks: to ensure adequate monitoring of the quality of project activities as well as the achieved project results; dissemination of project results beyond the academic community, including to wider public groups (local governments, interested farmers and foresters, high school students etc).<\/p>\n\n
